The Caste System

Vampires are spelled out into a very specific caste system. For the blue-blooded, each social gathering is an opportunity to climb up to the next level. It's a cutthroat business full of betrayal and subterfuge. This is a place where connections are everything and social faux pas are not easily forgotten.


The Monarchy

The Monarchy consists of the Moretti family. They are ancient and a family of the purest blood, even inbreeding to keep any spoiled genes from entering their coveted bloodline. The other families would kill for a chance to marry into the royal family. The Moretti family rules over all the other families, essentially. They pass judgement against crimes and carry out sentences.


The Nobles

The Nobles are the next tier right underneath the Monarchy. They most notably rule over small sects of land and enforce the rules as it were. The most prominent noble families are the Haverghasts which preside over England, the Moors which rule Scotland and the Agosti's who are responsible for Greece


The Middle Class

The Middle class are average families. They have to work to earn a living and although they are not considered scum, they are not thought overly highly of by the upper class.


The Diseased

There are vampires out there who, for unknown reasons, lose all sense of empathy... or humanity in an essence. They become bloodsucking monsters with no conscience. These are the scum of the earth and probably the reason vampires have such a bad name. They are the stuff of horror movies... and may be the cause of the vampire kind's undoing.
